Mudalali supplying drugs to school children nabbed

PANADURA: Panadura Magistrate Jagath A. Kahandagamage remanded a
mudalali who sold drugs to schoolchildren in Wadduwa. Two students who
collapsed at the school assembly, had told the principal that they
consumed drugs provided by the mudalali.
Wadduwa police nabbed the suspect using a decoy to buy drugs from him
at a boutique in Panadura.
Police also found 19 phials of drugs from the boutique. The
Magistrate ordered police to forward samples to the Government analyst
for an examination.
The suspect was remanded. |
