Lanka strengthens ties with Jordan, Kuwait, G-11
President Mahinda Rajapaksa undertook a successful
visit to Jordan and Kuwait. In Jordan, he led the Lankan delegation to
the G11 Summit and the World Economic Forum and held bilateral talks
with G11 leaders. In Kuwait, he held talks with the Emir, where he
promised more development aid from the Kuwait Fund.
