New tastes at Navratna -Taj Samudra

Navratna, arguably the finest Indian restaurant in the City, has just introduced a new menu with new flavours whilst still retaining the all-time favourites.

This great assemblage of culinary delights now includes many dishes from Lucknow and Hyderabd, two regions often considered to be of great significance in India’s tradition of rich cuisine. This fare is distinctive for its blend of spices and unique preparation approaches.

The menu offers nothing short of true authenticity - Navratna’s master “Chef Pawan” had spent time honing his skills in the wonderous art of preparing these dishes in both Hyderabd and Lucknow.

Stemming from these origins are the most enchanting of biryani’s and kebabs whose recipes are whispered like well guarded secrets.

From the fine Galavat Kebab made of minced lamb to the Murg Lucknowi pulao your appetite will be quenched in the most desirable way.

If you’re always looking for something extra-ordinary then you must try Banjara cuisine. This is the cuisine of the gypsies of India whose nomadic lifestyle resulted in an amalgamation of cultures and an imbibed culinary tradition of many parts of India.

Make sure you try out the Dhuan Murg, a chicken delicacy or the Dal Banjara. Unique and unexplored, these treats are not to be missed.

The best is truly saved for last - the desserts on offer will allure your sweet tooth into deep craving. From melt in the mouth baked anjeer halwa, a truly tantalizing dessert made of figs to the loved Rasmalai, every last bite will be relished.
