Youth awards contest
COLOMBO: The National Youth Services Council (NYSC) has called
for applications for the 2007 Youth Awards Competition.
Youth between 14 and 29 can participate in events organised by the
NYSC in Sinhala and Tamil medium.
The events include singing, announcing, dancing, essay, poetry, short
stories, mime, novels, art, classical band, western band, photography,
wood carving, sculpture and drama.
Applications for the drama competition can be sent by those aged
between 17 and 35, NYSC release said.
The closing date for applications is May 30. Applications should be
sent to the Assistant Director (Fine Arts), Development Section,
National Youth Services Council, 65, High Level Road, Maharagama. |
