Hatna trophy for HNB

HOCKEY: Led by Eranga Jayasuriya, Hatton National Bank `A’ beat Commercial Bank by four goals to two in a penalty shoot out to win the Hatna Trophy ‘A’ division hockey knock out championship.

The final was worked off at the Astro turf, recently, organised by the Mercantile Hockey Association.

At half-time scores were stood at one all and at the end of the full- time the scores stood at three-all.

Charitha Senanayake and M. Ghazalie were the goal scorers for winners while Anju Hewage and Sumith Jayasena stood out for losers.

The match was refereed by I. Jayawardane and N. Paranadheeran. (SA)
