Underworld gang leader shot dead

COLOMBO: Underworld gang leader, Prince Columns was shot dead last morning by some unidentified gunmen at his residence in Bloemendhal Road in the Modera area, Police sources said.

According to Police, he was one of the most wanted gang leaders in the country and was the main suspect in many murders, extortions and many other crimes. He was shot dead by some gunmen who came in a van around 4 a.m., and had fled the scene after committing the crime.

The Police suspect gang rivalry for the alleged shooting as Prince Columns was believed to be the leader of a underworld gang which included more than a hundred members.

The Police are conducting investigations.
