Film Festival has today come to be known as the foremost and the most
popular film festival in Sri Lankan cinema.

identity where the Sri Lankan cinema is concerned, and about giving
direction to the industry as whole, ensuring that the younger generation
is guided by the same standards that have gained the festival much
recognition and credibility among Sri Lankan cinemagoers.

fabric of Sri Lanka, People's Bank is indeed proud to be associated with
an event of this calibre. The bank recognises the importance of
appreciating the cinematic contributions that have been made to society,

were held in Kandy, Kurunegala, Matara and Colombo, Drawing large
numbers of eager fans, the events were a resounding success, and
provided a fitting lead up to the final ceremony.
