Sri Lanka to benefit greatly from EU’s extension of ‘GSP Plus’

‘GSP Plus’ trade agreement following its termination next year, to
provide continuous access to markets for entrepreneurs in developing
nations, Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Sri Lanka,

IFC’s financial commitment to Lanka topping $ 300 m
Today the International Finance Corporation (IFC)’s
investment exposure in Sri Lanka is $ 86 million largely in ports
and energy infrastructure, telecommunications and the financial
services sector. In 50 years’ time IFC’s cumulative commitment has
exceeded over $ 300 million.
