Six Star luxury resort in South

NEW HOTEL: The Elephant Corridor management will be opening a six star luxury resort in the Southern Province this year. Chairman, hotelier and entrepreneur Prasanna W. Jayewardene said they have already obtained land for the project from the Government and the hotel would be opened for the next winter season. "We will have six ultra luxury suites in this villa type hotel," he said.

They would be charging US $ 10,000 per night and this would be the highest for a hotel of this nature.

Their first hotel, Elephant Corridor designated as a 6 star plus hotel by its guests would be celebrating their fourth anniversary on March 1. In addition to a series of social responsibility programmes they would also have religious observances on this day.
