LOGO: Expo Lanka Holdings Ltd. launched its new logo and tagline
January 19 at the Hilton Hotel, Colombo.
The company believes that the logo brings to life, the vision, the
mission, values and the philosophy of the group.
The tagline was also launched with the logo as 'Business beyond
borders.' It's an expectation that this new concept will bring an
identity and image to the history and estate of the company.
The conglomerate's director board says that Expo Holdings did not
have proper infrastructure before and now they have realised and adhered
to it by introducing the new logo and the tagline to the public.
"We comprehend that we have achieved only 50 per cent of our capacity
and we wanted to upgrade our group by setting a target of Rs 1.5 billion
profit after tax per year," Group Financial Officer, Expo Lanka
Holdings, Mustaq Ahamed said.
He said the total revenue per financial year is 11 billion rupees and
80 % of it comes to the country as foreign exchange. 'Most of our sister
companies are export-oriented companies.
"We structured them into five core sectors that includes
transportation, aviation, international trading, manufacturing and
strategic investment.
"We have been in business for 28 years. We have entered 16 countries
and 40 cities worldwide so far for foreign transactions.
'We have taken Sri Lankan nature to the globe and we maintain our
identity as a Sri Lankan company by having the headquarters in the
