The role of Ceylinco- Sussex College is to prepare students personally and professionally for future leadership roles. For this purpose our educational process put particularly emphasis on developing national and international cultural competencies through local and foreign language skills, she said.

Cooray said they provide facilities and opportunities for total development of the child through mental, physical, spiritual and aesthetic development and scope for future leaders to emerge, she said. 'The Institute is two years old. Our aspiration is not to enrol a lot of students but to give a quality output for a limited number of students and pass a higher per cent age, she said.

According to Cooray accountancy and business management have a special place in their criteria. The institute guarantees good knowledge and internationally recognised professionally qualifications as well. All lectures are qualified and individual attention is given for all students.

They also conduct special English programmes for students who need to improve the language. Further, the Institute is looking at opportunities to expand their education business to Maldives as well. They are now in the process of setting up an Institute in Maldives to conduct CIMA classes in the future, she said.

The Institute provides many facilities for their children like student loans, scholarships career guidance. The loans are being provided thorough the Finance Investment Centre, she said.

Compared to other institutes in Sri Lanka, our institute can be trusted due to several reasons. Our institute is a member of the Ceylinco Group and all activities are conducted responsibly.

There are employment opportunities offered at Ceylinco and other organisations for those who follow the course, issuing recommendations and certificates. At the end of any course the opportunity is given to every student for training in different organisations with necessary financial assistance and scholarships are also provided, Cooray said.

She also said that education is a vital requirement for nation building and they are now in the process of introducing many programmes for local students as well.

They are affiliated to many foreign universities as well. Ceylinco Business School assists prospective students to pursue recognised degrees within Sri Lanka, she said.

The Institute has many faculties apart from the Business School.

It has a Computer Academy and Teacher Training College which they consider as a service to the nation, she said.
