Air Force pounds Sea Tiger base

MULLAITIVU: Air Force Kfir jets pounded an LTTE Sea Tiger base in Chilawatte, Mullaitivu yesterday around 7.00 a.m, Air Force Spokesman Group Captain Ajantha Silva said.

"The target was accurate and precise. The Air Force Kfir jet pounded the Sea Tiger base after a long surveillance," Group Captain Silva told the Daily News.

He said the target was a Sea Tiger 'launching pad' boatyard used to launch attacks.

Heavy damage was caused to the Sea Tiger base in this attack. "LTTE casualties are not known yet," he added.
