CCI releases Trade Catalogue

CATALOGUE: The Chamber of Construction Industry fulfilling the long felt need of the construction sector will release their maiden Trade Catalogue at the Galle Face Hotel, Colombo today.

Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs Dr. Sarath Amunugama will be the chief guest at this event.

CEO of the Chamber Dakshitha Talgodapitiya said that it is expected to publish this catalogue every year by the CCI.

It is designed in the lines of similar publication in countries such as Singapore and Malaysia, and is expected to be the most comprehensive reference source document for product and professional services related to the construction industry.

In view of the large-scale invetments to be made in the infrastucture development sector the need for a Product and services reference source publication is greater than ever before.

Absence of such a document in the past has no doubt prevented both designers and contractors from making well informed procurement decisions of in the selection of materials, plant and equipment. etc., Talgodapitiya said.
