SriLankan, BOC Travels new Ratnapura office opened
PARTNERSHIP: SriLankan Airlines has entered into a partnership with
B.O.C. Travels, which will serve as the National Carrier's Passenger
Sales Agent in Ratnapura and manage the Ticket Office there, a release
states.
True to its philosophy of taking service to the doorstep of the
customer, the National Carrier has ticket officers nationwide in
Colombo, the Bandaranaike International Airport, Kandy, Galle, Dambulla,
Karunegala, Badulla, Ratnapura, Jaffna, Vavuniya, Seeduwa, Trincomalee,
Batticaloa and Matara.
Head of Worldwide Passenger Sales at SriLankan Manoj Gunawardena
said: "taking business to the customer is what we always aim to do at
SriLankan, Our ticket offices therefore are located nationwide so that
the customer does not have to travel a great distance to access our
services.
The new office in Ratnapura is fully equipped to attend to all of a
customer's travel requirements, whether it is a simple inquiry about a
fare, a booking, reconfirmation, or any type of special request".
Manager Marketing Services at SriLankan Ranjith De Silva said: "We
are confident that this will be a mutually beneficial relationship with
B.O.C. Travels. This tie-up between the National Carrier and the
National Bank, with their combined strengths, will be very beneficial to
the customer".
