Minister to seek Austrian help for NCP Zoo

COLOMBO: Botanical and Zoological Gardens Promotion Minister Bandula Basnayake left for Vienna Zoo, in Austria to study the facilities provided for animals and the structural set up to make it comfortable to the animals.

He is visiting the zoo on an invitation by the Vienna Zoo Director Harold Some.

Before leaving for Austria, the Minister said he would seek assistance to set up a new zoo in the North Central Province.
