ISF felicitates private security staff

SPORTS DAY: The activity calendar of Industrial Security Foundation (Sri Lanka) Inc., (ISF) has reserved a day for recreation and entertainment, exclusively for men and women employed in the commercial and industrial security trade.

Though the security trade has not come to light as a well recognised, gainful and self satisfying profession in the society at large, it has an occupancy rate of well over 80,000, whose main job function is to secure and safeguard the commercial and industrial establishments, round the clock on 365 days of the year. This year, the private security commemorates its Golden Jubilee, having established the security profession in Sri Lanka in 1956.

In acknowledging their services, the corporate body for commercial and industrial security profession, ISF has considered it extremely important to felicitate them with a full day of recreation and entertainment.

With this objective, for the fifth successive year, ISF will stage a 'Security Sixes and Netball Tourney' exclusively for security men and women (excluding Police and Armed Services), in a carnival atmosphere at the P. Saravanamuttu Stadium (Oval Grounds) Borella, Colombo on Saturday December 16.

Ltd.
