CF adopts Uni-banking

NOVEL PRODUCT: Central Finance Company Limited (CF) is now practising a Uni-banking system to enable customers to conduct their transactions from any CF branch.

To boost this CF has introduced its own Automated Teller Machine network (ATM) commencing operations on December 5.

Initially the Central finance Company installed five ATMs at its head office in Kandy, City Office Colombo, Kurunagela branch, Nugegoda branch and Negombo branch.

"In early January Central Bank allowed us to cater the savings accounts. So far we have tapped 11000 savings accounts through our twenty-five branches islandwide. We will develop over branch net work to thirty-five end of this month," Assistant General Manager - Deposits, Anura Rajanayake said.

"We are now negotiating with a leading bank to use their ATM in future. After this negotiation our customers also can use their ATMs for their transactions. To use these specific ATMs the service charge will be minimised to Rs 10 to Rs 15.

We are planning to combine with master cards system in the near future which will globalise our customers' financial transactions," he said.

For these ATM services, Interblocks Limited provides the complete services to Central Finance Company. " I assure the services provided by the Central Finance will be stable. And its ensured by the A+ Fitch Rating. Which is assessed by an independent body in Sri Lanka" he said.
