First Lankan twins to graduate from Cyber Campus
COLOMBO: Pasindu and Hasindu Atukorale were awarded B.Sc (Hons) in
Computing from the University of Portsmouth, UK, on November 26.
They had their primary education at Ferguson High School (Boys) and
secondary education at Sivali Central College, Ratnapura. They are also
former students of Singapore Informatics Computer Institute, Colombo 03.
They became the first ever youngest Sri Lankan twins graduated from
the University of Portsmouth, UK of the similar Major (Multimedia) at
the age of 21. Pasindu and Hasindu serve as Directors of Web Vici (Pvt)
Ltd., a web solutions company based in Sri Lanka.
They are the sons of Nalaka Atukorale (ex-Minister of the
Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council) and Prajapali Atukorale
(Attorney-at-law, J.P.U.M.) of Ratnapura.
Their elder sister, Woranga Atukorale also graduated in B.Sc in
Information Technology from the University of Canberra, Australia.
Pasindu, Hasindu and Woranga Atukorale are the grand children of late
retired judge of the Supreme Court, Justice E. A. D. Atukorale and late
Mallika Atukorale of Ratnapura and late Dr. H. Panagoda and late Mrs
Panagoda of Gampaha.
