Women cricketers for Asia Cup

CRICKET: The Selection Committee at a meeting held recently, selected the following team to represent Sri Lanka in the Women's Asia Cup 2006 which has got the approval of the Ministry of Sports.

The squad Shashikala Siriwardena (Capt), Sandamali Dolawatha (V. Capt), Dedunu De Silva, Chamani Polgampola, Inoka Galagedara, Hiroshi Abeysinghe, Sweni De Alwis, Dilani Manodara, Ishani Kawshalya, Nirosha Kumari, Randika Galahenage, Saduni Abeywickrema, Sumudu Fernando, Sripali Weerakkodi. Stand by Janakanthimal, Chandi Wickremasinghe.
