Change in passport fees

COLOMBO: Consequent to the proposals announced in Budget 2007, the following changes have been made to the passport fees structure. Ordinary passport to all countries, normal service (10 working days) fee has been reduced to Rs.2,500 from Rs.3,000.

Ordinary passport to all countries, one day service fee has been increased to Rs.7,500 from Rs.5,500.

There is no change in the passport fee for Middle East only (Rs.1,000) and for extensions/renewals.
