Security Forces call for coordinated effort for transporting food to
uncleared areas
Security Forces in Batticaloa yesterday called for a
well-coordinated effort for transporting essential food items for the
civilian population in the uncleared areas in Vakarai since there was no
proper security escort for food convoys bound to uncleared areas.

LTTE trio case adjourned
Cllr Daya Idaikadar warned by Court:
The case brought before the Harrow Crown Court by the
Metropolitan Police on the violence in front of the Tamil Broadcasting
Corporation (TBC) on 8 June 2006 was formally adjourned following brief
hearing on November 17.
