Royal stickers stay unbeaten

HOCKEY: Royal College, Colombo continued their domination when they trounced Richmond College, Galle 9-0 to emerge unbeaten champions of Group C at the all-island schools under-13 hockey tournament organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Hockey Association which is being played at the Asgiriya stadium Kandy and the university grounds Peradeniya.

Royal College will now meet Dharmaraja College in the quarter- finals this morning. The other quarter-finalists are Nalanda, Kingswood, St. Benedicts, Joseph Vaz, Christ Church, Matale and Vijaya College, Matale.

The other group champions were: Group A: Nalanda, Group B: St. Benedicts, Group D: Christ Church College, Matale.

The boys finals will be played at 3.45 p.m. today.
