Hayleys, third in a row

WIN: Hayleys won the CSR competition for the third consecutive year at the Best Corporate Citizen 2006.

This was organised by Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in association with The World Conservation Union (IUCN).

The main objective of the awards is to raise awareness on the importance of Community Relations and Society (CSR) to the business community and to promote and encourage CSR practices among the corporate sector.

CSR will be a measure of the rankings of the services of a corporate entity to its stakeholders, customers, shareholders, employees, environment and community.

Leading up to the grand award, best practices in CSR, Employee relations, Customer/ Supplier relations, Economic Performance and Environment were rewarded at this ceremony in large, medium and small scale.

Awards were given to the winners of each stakeholder category and to top 10 Best Corporate Citizens.
