Navy helps Indian trawler in distress

COLOMBO: A Naval Craft patrolling the Northern seas yesterday observed an Indian fishing trawler in difficulty to the South of the Delft Island, the Navy said in a release yesterday. Naval officers who found the trawler unable to sail due to main engine failure following rough weather repaired it and provided fuel and food to the crew and helped it to sail to India.
