Deputy envoy visit Kerala and Puducherry
INDIA: Deputy High Commissioner for Sri Lanka in Southern
India P. M. Amza invited members of the Chamber of Commerce of
Puducherry to derive maximum benefit from the existing Free Trade
Agreement between Sri Lanka and India and discussed the possibility of
double country tourism promotion and promoting indigenous medicine in
Sri Lanka during a meeting in Kerala with members of the Chamber of
Commerce.
During the visits, the Deputy High Commissioner received a warm
reception when he called on the Chief Ministers of Puducherry and Kerala.
He also interacted with several political leaders, high ranking
officials and business personalities to strengthen and improve the
existing cordial relations.
During his visits, he explored avenues for greater cooperation
between Sri Lanka and the States of Kerala and Puducherry in the areas
of trade, investment and tourism. |
