Lending Rates (AWPLR) & the Lowest Prime Rate (LPR) during the week
ended 20th October, 2006 by all commercial banks were 14.35 percent and
12.50 per cent respectively.
The Average Weighted Deposit Rate (AWDR) of Commercial banks for the
month of September, 2006 was 6.89 percent.
