Govt will not hesitate to pursue suitable course of action against LTTE terrorism - Govt. Defence Spokesman

COLOMBO: If the LTTE terrorists persist on resorting to disgraceful and barbaric acts of terrorism, when the hand of friendship is extended to Prabhakaran, by such acts the innocent people are losing the opportunity to find solutions to their problems, states Plan Implementation Minister and Government Defence Spokesman Keheliya Rambukwella.

Minister Rambukwella made this comment by way of expressing his sorrow over the massacre of a large number of security personnel by the exploding of a bomb in the Digampathana area of Dambulla yesterday.

Deploring the mean act of killing unarmed personnel by the LTTE terrorists, he said that those killed were sailors and civilians who were earnestly longing to see their beloved ones and by their massacre the LTTE has clearly displayed before the world their meanness while claiming themselves to be the sole representative of the Tamil People.

Minister Rambukwella expressed his sympathies with the family members of the victims and assured that the Government will not hesitate to pursue a suitable course of action against LTTE terrorism.
