Lankan business delegation for Seoul
VISIT: A Sri Lankan business delegation from the Sri Lanka-Korea
Economic Co-operation Committee of the Ceylon Chamber left for Seoul,
Korea on October 15. The delegation is scheduled to participate in the
13th Joint Meeting of the Sri Lanka-Korea and Korea-Sri Lanka Economic
Co-operation committees followed by an investment seminar organized by
the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and one-to-one buyer-seller
meetings organised by the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA).
The delegates will also visit KES 2006'(Korea Electronics Show) in
KINTEX Seoul, arranged by Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA-Colombo).
The mission programmes were coordinated by the Sri Lankan embassy in
Seoul, Korea and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry. (KCCI)
The primary focus areas of the mission will be IT, software,
automobile components, hotels/golf links, tyre manufacture, gems and
jewellery, rubber products, construction services, processed foods,
leather goods, ceramics, tourism and sanitary-ware industry.
