CRICKET: Ceylon scored a thrilling 7 runs win over Star Lanka Shipping to enter the quarter Finals of the Janashakthi Insurance Co., sponsored, MCA 'G' Division 30 overs League Pre-Quarter Finals, worked off last week-end. Star Garments was engaged in another thriller when they edged out Leaderday by 4 wickets with four balls to spare.

Smart Shirts scored an unexpected win over the unbeaten CBE, beating them by 66 runs. Other five teams to enter the quarter finals were, Aqua Dynamics, Union Assurance, Swedish Trading, Sri Lankan Airlines 'D' & Lion Brewery.
