Basilica hold Joes to a draw
CRICKET: The inter school under 17 cricket match between St. Joseph's
College and Basilica College Ragama ended in a draw at Darley Road
recently.
Experienced Ranga Perera performed well for Josephians while taking
10 wickets for 69 runs. In the first innings he took 5 wickets for 24
runs and in the second innings he claimed 5 for 45 runs.
Basilica 1st innings 88 all out (A.S. Sollamen 25, Ranga Perera 5 for
24) and 182 all out (S. Nandana 59, N. Jayaweera 30, Ranga Perera 5 for
45, Joy 4 for 42)
St. Joseph's College 174 all out (Nilshan 43, R. Anthony 3 for 40)
and 83 for 9 wickets (Chathuranga 28, Darshana 4 for 22, R. Anthony 2
for 11).
Cambrians win
Prince of Wales College defeated Asoka MV on the first innings in
their inter school under 15 division three cricket tournament second
round match played at Moratuwa recently.
Prince of Wales: 231 for 9 (B. Udanasana 30, R. Perera 36, M. Cabral
35, P. Perera 32, B. Agalawatte 4 for 42)
Asoka MV: 67 (N. Dananjaya 20 n.o, M. Cabral 3 for 21, A. de Silva 3

Sri Dharmaloka MV forced a no decision to their inter school under 15
division three cricket tournament second round match against Prince of
Wales College played at Moratuwa recently.
