Sri Lanka-Pakistan clash in curtain-raiser

RUGBY: The International matches have been re-arranged for the second-day of the Singer-SriLankan Airlines International Rugby Sevens which will be worked off today at the Nittawela Rugby Stadium, Kandy.

Accordingly Sri Lanka will play its first match against Pakistan at 12.20 p.m. Sri Lanka's second match against Arabian Gulf will be played at 5.00 p.m.

The fixtures for the day are:

11.40 a.m. - Korea vs Malaysiya, 12.00 noon - Chinese Taipei vs Philippines, 12.20 p.m. - Sri Lanka vs Pakistan, 12.40 p.m. - China vs India. Lunch break 1.00 pm to 1.55 p.m.. 2.00 p.m. - Hong Kong vs Malaysia, 2.20 p.m. - Khazakhstan vs Philippines, 2.40 p.m. - Arabian Gulf vs Pakistan, 3.00 p.m. - Thailand vs India, 3.20 p.m. - Schools Cup semi-final, 3.50 p.m. - Schools Cup semi-final, 4.20 p.m. - Korea vs Hong Kong, 4.40 p.m. - Chinese Taipei vs Khazakhastan, 5.00 p.m. - Sri Lanka vs Arabian Gulf, 5.20 p.m. - China vs Thailand.

From 10.20 a.m. to 11.20 a.m., the Schools Plate and Bowl semi-finals will be played.
