Rohitha, Kalutara development planning head

COLOMBO: Minister of Foregn Employment Promotion, Deputy Minister of Post and Telecommunication and Chief Organiser of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party in Kalutara, Rohitha Abegunawardana has been appointed as President of the Development Planing Committee of the Kalutara District by President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickramanayake was a former President of the committee and he has given up the post due to his busy schedule.

Minister Rohitha Abegunawardena said there are many development strategies and plans to be implemented in Kalutara under the Mahinda Chinthanaya. He said that he is very keen on involving in implementing and guiding of these proposals for speedy development in Kalutara.
