World Islamic Call Society assists Muttur displaced
COLOMBO: World Islamic Call Society, Resident Representative Tayib El
Misurati granted fifty tons of humanitarian assistance to the Muttur
displaced at the residence of the ambassador of the Libyan People's
Bureau. Nagib I.S. Kafou handed over the humanitarian assistance to
Disaster Relief Services Minister Ameer Ali for distribution through the
Jammiyathul Ulama.
Tayib El Misurati at the handing over said the Society was founded by
the Leader of the Great Al-Fateh Revolution Brother Muammar Al-Qathafi
in 1972.
The main objective of the Society was to examine the problems of the
affected people living all over the World and provide humanitarian
assistance without any discrimination of religion, ethnicity, language
and colour as such it has won the appreciation of many countries and
International Organisations.
For this gesture, it has gained the advisory statues in UNESCO and
has its own office in the premises of UNESCO in Paris and the World
Islamic Call Society has branches in the Philippines, Senegal, Malta,
the Maldives and Italy.
"The World Islamic Call Society worked for peace, love, tolerance and
understating among the different communities and it is against violence,
terrorism and extremism," said Tayib El Misurati.
