WCA Nationals for the Women's Asia Cup

TOURNEY: The Annual National League Tournament 2006 conducted by the Women's Cricket Association of Sri Lanka will be played from September 11 onwards.

National Selectors A.R.M. Aroos (Chairman), Gulam Razik, Muttiah Devraj and Daya Munasinghe will pick a Pool of twenty four players from which 16 players will be named for the National squad to tour India end of the year to compete for the Asia Cup.

The other participating countries are Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. The teams will vie for the Singer Trophy.

The B' segment of the Nationals will be worked out before end of September.
