Netherlands extends assistance to IDPs

COLOMBO: The Embassy of the Royal Kingdom of the Netherlands in Colombo announces one million Euros to the United Nation High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR).

The funding is provided within the framework of the UN Common Humanitarian Appeal to help the Internally Displaced People in the North East.

The Netherlands Embassy calls upon all parties to co-operate to the fullest with the UN agencies in their efforts to bring relief to the needy.
