COLOMBO: Supreme Court Judge Nihal Jayasinha was sworn in as Acting Chief Justice before President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees yesterday.

New Sri Lankan Ambassador to Myanmar

COLOMBO: The Government with the concurrence of the Government of the Union of Myanmar has decided to appoint Pathiranage Arthur Dias Samarasekera as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sri Lanka to the Union of Myanmar, in succession to Dissanayake Mudiyanselage Mahinda Ranaraja, states a Foreign Affairs Ministry Press release.
