First private economic centre in Kiribathgoda

KIRIBATHGODA: The first ever Private Economic Centre will be opened in Kiribathgoda town in the Dasa Group trading complex under the auspices of Dasa Group of Enterprises within the next four months.

The foundation stone laying for the construction of the new Private Economic Centre took place at the proposed site under the patronage of Skills Development Minister Sripathi Sooriyaaratchchi yesterday morning.

The proposed centre consists of 123 trading stalls, a super market, retail shops, state and private banks and several other commercial establishments catering to the day to day needs of the consumers.

Addressing the foundation laying ceremony, Minister Sooriyaaratchchi said by opening this private economic centre he expects to make Kiribathgoda a fully fledged town.

Several politicians in the locality as well as the staff of the Dasa Group including its Chairman attended the occasion.
