Asian Aviation Centre awards ceremony
Award: Hundred and twenty Asian Aviation Centre (AAC) students
who have completed courses leading to academic, professional and
technician level qualifications in Aeronautical, Automotive, Mechanical,
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Flying training (piloting) and the AAC
Diploma in Management will receive over 200 different awards for their
performances in the academic year 2005/2006.
Dr. Peter Mason, Dean Faculty of Engineering, Kingston University, UK
will grace the occasion as the chief guest.
Challenge trophies for best student on Kingston University BEng
Engineering courses, Best student on Kingston University Higher National
Diploma Engineering courses, Best student on Kingston University
Foundation Degree course, Best student on TAFE Certificate IV course,
Best student of Aeronautical Maintenance Technician course and Best
student on PPL Technical examination will be awarded.
Creating worldwide career opportunities for young people in the
aerospace, automotive and aircraft maintenance industries through
academic, professional and technical level education and training
leading to qualifications recognised by relevant international
professional bodies, universities and institutions of tertiary
education.
This year, AAC is completing 10 years of aviation training catering
not only to Sri Lankan students but also to students coming from foreign
countries. |
