Five Tigers killed, weapon-seized

BATTICALOA: Five LTTEers were killed and Tiger weapons recovered during confrontations with the STF in Urani, Batticaloa on Thursday around 7.00 p.m.

The Tigers attacked the STF personnel when they stopped several cyclists, for checking, a spokesman for the Media Centre for National Security (MCNS) said.
