New Pakistan envoy

COLOMBO: Sri Lanka yesterday announced the appointment of a new envoy to replace outgoing Pakistan High Commissioner Bashir Wali Mohmand.

The Foreign Ministry said the Government accepted the appointment of retired Pakistan Air Vice Marshal Shahzad Aslam Chaudhry as Islamabad's new envoy in the island. AFP
