CHARITY: SriLankan Airlines' Aircraft Engineers have
constructed a new Pre-School for Tsunami-affected children in the
southern town of Kosgoda, in yet another initiative by the National
Carrier and its staff to assist children throughout the island.
The Rs. 700,000 project to build the Shri Sirisumedha Pera Pasala on
the premises of the town's Buddhist Temple was carried out by the
Association of Licensed Aircraft Engineers of SriLankan Airlines (ALAE).
The pre-school was handed over the chief priest of the temple
recently by the senior management of the airline and members of the ALAE,
in a ceremony attended by the children and their parents. |
