First Ayurveda spa in the city

TREATMENT: The Anarva Spa owned and managed by Siddhalepa Ayurveda hotel was opened in Mount Lavinia. This is the first Ayurveda spa in the city.

"We introduced this concept to Colombo since it will allow more Sri Lankan's living in City to patronise this service," Director of Siddhalepa Vindyani Hettigoda said.

There are many hotels that are offering Ayurveda treatment and therapy and they are all based out of Colombo.

"With Anarva in Mount Lavinia people now do not have to go out of City looking for this kind of luxury," she said. "We have made a sizable investment for the project and the results are already on the way," she said.

"This Spa meaning irresistible enchanting, delightful, fascinating, enticing, and boundless in Sanskrit is the ultimate in Ayurveda spa treatment to restore, revive and rejuvenate naturally.

"A trip to the Anarva Spa will rejuvenate a person naturally and this is a concept that is gaining in popularity allover the world. People are once again beginning to enjoy the ancient Ayurveda secrets of health beauty and relaxation," she said.

A doctor would first listen to a person's aliment and recommend special oils and treatment to bring relief. The treatment offered at the Spa range from 20-minute head massage to six-hour full day Ayurveda spiritual.

The Spa will be opened from 7 30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and a courteous greeting accompanied by a delightful cup of herbal tea and pervading aroma of flowers and herbs awaits the visitor.
