Loans for self-employment

NARAMMALA:Mass Media and Information Minister Anura Priyadharshana Yapa will be the chief guest at the distribution of loans to 200 poor families to engage in self employment projects.

This is a project initiated by the Bank of Ceylon to mark the 67th anniversary of the bank. The ceremony to release Rs. 18 million allocated by the Bank of Ceylon to be given as loans will take place on Sunday, August 6 at 4.00 pm at the Bank of Ceylon premises at Narammala.
