Nurses exam on August 6

COLOMBO:The competitive examination for promotions to the Class One Ward Sister grade in hospitals throughout the country will be held at 50 examination halls on August 6, the Healthcare and Nutrition Ministry sources said.

Admission Cards have already been posted to the 4,800 applicants sitting this examination and their list of names has been published in the Ministry Web site.

Applicants who have not received their Admission Cards by post, can still sit the examination by reporting to the relevant examination hall if their names have appeared on the list posted in the Web site, said Director (Examination) Ministry of Healthcare and Nutrition, Swarna de Silva.

Nurses who could not submit their applications on time due to administrative delays, can sit the examination on this day at the Post Primary Nursing School in Colombo 7. This opportunity has been given to them in response to a request made to Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva by them.
