TENNIS: The Annual Tennis Tournament and Club Nite organised by Uva Club will be conducted from August 17 to 19 at the Unugala Group Club House in Hali-Ela.

Men's Singles, Doubles, Ladies Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Veterans Singles and Doubles (Over 45 years) will be conducted in open events while Men's Singles and Doubles and Veterans Singles and Doubles will be conducted in the Club events.

Entries for the Open Tennis Tournament will be accepted till August 9 at 3 p.m. by the convenor Lakshman Abeygunawardena (Phone 0722-157123) and the draw will be held at 6 p.m. on the same day.

According to the President of the Uva Club Eraj Waniganayake, elaborate arrangements have been made for the Club Nite, which will be conducted on August 19 where a large gathering is expected from all parts of the country.
