BoI signs agreements with Eco Fisheries and Kaimoo Highland

NEW VENTURES: The BoI signed an agreement with Eco Fisheries (Pvt) Ltd to set up an aquaculture facility. An investment of Rs. 127.12mn out of which Rs. 124.12mn is from Hong Kong.

This project has been approved under the Nipayum Sri Lanka 300 Enterprises Programme and the factory will be located in Ambakawila, Chilaw. The factory will have a labour force of 139 employees and 80% of the products will be for the export market.

Kaimoo Highland Agri Investments (Private) Limited entered into an agreement with the BOI for a project to cultivate vegetables for the export market.
