Volunteer teachers in N-E for Teachers’ Service

COLOMBO: Teachers who served as volunteer teachers in the North Eastern Province will be recruited into the Sri Lanka Teachers’ Service, educational sources said.

Interviews for the volunteer teachers to join into Sri Lanka Teachers’ Service will be held at Zonal Education Offices in Vavuniya, Trincomalee, Kantale, Batticaloa, Amparai, Dehiattakandiya, Maha Oya and Kalmunai from August 1 to 3, the sources added. All applicants based on their documents, letters calling them for interview have been posted on July 17.

In future volunteer teachers serving in other provinces will also be called for interviews, educational sources said.
