Demise of P.A. Sadak, an irreparable loss - Azwer

COLOMBO: The passing away of Alhaj P.A. Sadak 84, is a loss to the Muslim Community in particular and to the business community in general, states Presidential Adviser on Parliamentary Affairs A.H.M. Azwer in a condolence message.

His Janaza took place at the Maligawatte Muslim burial ground yesterday amidst a large gathering.

The message:- Alhaj Sadak hails from a philanthropic family in Kayalpatnam, Tamil Nadu.

He and his senior partners have contributed in a large measure to several educational institutions, mosques and madrasas throughout the country.

The Pallak Lebbe Memorial building and the new hostel at Zahira College, Colombo stand as testimony to their generosity. Alhaj Sadak was a trustee of Jamiul Alfer (Samman Kottu) Mosque in Pettah and the Haji Omar Trust.
