President invites public views on energy conservation

COLOMBO: President Mahinda Rajapaksa has called on the public to offer suggestions leading to energy conservation. Innovative ideas of the public in conserving energy will be welcomed by the President.

With the ever rising fuel prices and the waste in energy resources as pointed out by experts coupled with the rising demand for electricity, a decision has been taken to canvass public views regarding energy conservation.
