Weapons inquiry under way
COLOMBO: The Presidential Commission of Inquiry into
Procurement of high value weapons, other military equipment and services
during the period of 2000 to 2005 by the Government has invited the
public to transmit vital information in secrecy and directly to the
commission.
Work has started on the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into
procurement of high-value weapons, other military equipment and services
during the period 2000 to 2005 by the Government and investigations are
now being done, and evidence recorded. Some vital information has been
received and the Commission would invite members of the public and
members of the Armoured Services to transmit any relevant information.
Those who wish to transmit information in secrecy may do so directly

Such information may be transmitted anonymously or by name. The
Commission assures all those concerned that such information will be
